Group of Five (G5)
Is a group of five or more Canadian citizens, Registered Indians, or permanent residents who are 18 years of age or older.
The group members should live in the settlement area of the sponsored refugees. The duration of the sponsorship is usually 12 months, during which, the G5 is responsible for providing the necessary settlement support (Financially and non-Financially).
